Some life tales

Once again my blog has been subjected to neglect which is a shame considering it should be a place where I can share my thoughts and detach myself from life and her demands (which Im sure we all know about).

So from this day I vow to be committed to my blog and nurture it and possibly you, whoever you may be, with my tales.

I love fashion and I pretty much have an addiction to clothing. Im not sure if you know anyone who gets physically upset when they are in a store and can't buy something... because you do now! I will obviously try to incorporate fashion and beauty into some of my posts but others may have a bit of rambling about the things I feel i need to share and the things that interest me and hopefully you too. So hang in there!

Anxiety,Anxiety, Anxiety.
I've always been one to have panic attacks and anxiety attacks over the smallest of things but I have never experience such a horrific attack as I did a few weeks ago. It was a Sunday afternoon, a lazy one as usual, and I was seemingly relaxed until a spontaneous feeling of nausea and light headedness came over me. Next thing i knew my heart was beating at 1000 miles an hour and I convinced myself I was going to die. This lasted for five  hours. I pleaded my mom to take me to the hospital where i was informed I was having an anxiety attack and had a beautiful tranqiliser shot in my bum... always a fun experience. Im not sure who of you have experienced this type of anxiety attack but its truly terrifying. You have to wonder why we are so committed to living these busy and stressful life styles when in the end they actually prevent us from living. Anxiety is something so many of us have to deal with at some point in our lives so why is it that a doctor ,who has only known you for 5 minutes, is so quick on his feet to prescribe you anti depressents? Surly we should try to change our life style first and solve the problem instead of masking it?

But on a more positive note, on Friday I was lucky enough to go and watch one of my favorite bands, The Kooks, at a "secret location" in town. I guess your probably thinking "if its a secret location then how did you get there?" because I was thinking the exact same thing! What basically happened was that you were picked up by these buses at the given location that you were told and then the buses transported you to the secret venue. The venue was actually under a highway - which was an extremely different but awesome surprise. The only disappointing thing was the fact that the Brits decided to bring their weather to South Africa with them and we were all sometimes suck under the random waterfall that protruded over the highway's edge. The event was held by 5gum and believe it or not, everything (except for drinks, obviously)was free! Amazing.

Another exciting event that I attended during this weekend was Michael Mcintyer's comedian show held at the Coca Cola dome. Now Michael has always been able to make me laugh to the point of crying but he was so hilarious that I physically couldn't laugh anymore! Seriously though, it was painful. He is such a brilliant performer, the show was definitely the highlight of my weekend!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post!  Thanks for reading :)

XOXOX
