Ombre Hair care and Sheinside
Over the past few months I have noticed a lot of people sporting ombre hair. Since I graduated my hair to ombre last October I though that it would be useful to give those who are thinking about doing an ombre hairstyle or have one already some hair care tips.
My hairdresser kindly suggested Redken's "Real Control" Shampoo and conditioner to whip my hair back into shape after all that nasty bleaching. Although Redken is notoriously pricey these two products really pack a powerful punch and I do feel they were worth the buy. Both the shampoo and conditioner restored the moister back into my hair and I could feel the difference even after a few days of use, but do be warned a little goes a far way with these products as over use can result in greasy oily hair.

Along with my Redken products I used Doves intensive repair mask once every week and I was incredibly impressed with this product. I feel that Dove really came through in producing a good quality hair mask as it not only provides your hair with great moister but also makes it heavenly soft.

Recently I was introduced to John Frieda's Full repair body Shampoo and Conditioner by a friend of mine. Being a female, I obviously extensively researched reviews on these products before buying them and people were literally raving over them! So i decided to head out and purchase the pair (at a reasonably affordable price might I add) and already after one wash I can feel the difference. Hair as soft as a babies bottom? - Yes its possible.

Sheinside:
I quite recently stumbled upon a online store called "She-inside" after seeing one of their items on Pintrest. The clothing is amazing and yet so affordable but I am indecisive as to whether or not I should purchase something due to many mixed reviews online. Have any of you bought an item from Sheinside? If so was it worth it?

eBay addiction?!
Here is a picture of the blouse I have ordered:
I will post comparison pictures once I have received my blouse so that you can see the quality difference etc. and possibly give you some confidence in online shopping if you are a bit of a skeptical.
Printed bottoms
For this winter I decided that I NEEDED to have some kind of printed bottom to add to my wardrobe. I headed off to Topshop (pretty much my most favorite of all shops) as I knew that they could meet my demands and stumbled upon the most amazing joggers!

Yes, those are elephants. These brilliant joggers are not only super comfortable as they feel light and silky on your legs but they are also an eye pleaser!
I styled these joggers with a long sleeve black cotton shirt, which I tucked in, with a cute white pearl and beaded collar to make the look more formal.

Some life tales
Once again my blog has been subjected to neglect which is a shame considering it should be a place where I can share my thoughts and detach myself from life and her demands (which Im sure we all know about).
So from this day I vow to be committed to my blog and nurture it and possibly you, whoever you may be, with my tales.
I love fashion and I pretty much have an addiction to clothing. Im not sure if you know anyone who gets physically upset when they are in a store and can't buy something... because you do now! I will obviously try to incorporate fashion and beauty into some of my posts but others may have a bit of rambling about the things I feel i need to share and the things that interest me and hopefully you too. So hang in there!
Anxiety,Anxiety, Anxiety.
I've always been one to have panic attacks and anxiety attacks over the smallest of things but I have never experience such a horrific attack as I did a few weeks ago. It was a Sunday afternoon, a lazy one as usual, and I was seemingly relaxed until a spontaneous feeling of nausea and light headedness came over me. Next thing i knew my heart was beating at 1000 miles an hour and I convinced myself I was going to die. This lasted for five hours. I pleaded my mom to take me to the hospital where i was informed I was having an anxiety attack and had a beautiful tranqiliser shot in my bum... always a fun experience. Im not sure who of you have experienced this type of anxiety attack but its truly terrifying. You have to wonder why we are so committed to living these busy and stressful life styles when in the end they actually prevent us from living. Anxiety is something so many of us have to deal with at some point in our lives so why is it that a doctor ,who has only known you for 5 minutes, is so quick on his feet to prescribe you anti depressents? Surly we should try to change our life style first and solve the problem instead of masking it?
But on a more positive note, on Friday I was lucky enough to go and watch one of my favorite bands, The Kooks, at a "secret location" in town. I guess your probably thinking "if its a secret location then how did you get there?" because I was thinking the exact same thing! What basically happened was that you were picked up by these buses at the given location that you were told and then the buses transported you to the secret venue. The venue was actually under a highway - which was an extremely different but awesome surprise. The only disappointing thing was the fact that the Brits decided to bring their weather to South Africa with them and we were all sometimes suck under the random waterfall that protruded over the highway's edge. The event was held by 5gum and believe it or not, everything (except for drinks, obviously)was free! Amazing.
Another exciting event that I attended during this weekend was Michael Mcintyer's comedian show held at the Coca Cola dome. Now Michael has always been able to make me laugh to the point of crying but he was so hilarious that I physically couldn't laugh anymore! Seriously though, it was painful. He is such a brilliant performer, the show was definitely the highlight of my weekend!
I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Thanks for reading :)

A fresh start
I hope you all like my new layout. I basically had to cram GIMP (a program which is sort of like photoshop ...) into my small head and learn HTML coding? and with the help of my trusty boyfriend, I was able to put this page together! I also included a poll which I'll update every so often so feel free to participate ;)
My email address is also up under the "Contact" tab so if you have any advice or idea's regarding my blog please don't hesitate to let me know!
My New High-waisties
I recently got new high-waisted shorts as an early birthday present and I must say, I'm in love. I absolutely adore the high waisted trend but where I live they are so hard to find and when you do find a pair, they usually suck (sorry to be so blunt).
I ordered them from an online store called Biancakimclothing and I'm super happy with how they look. The great thing is that there is a wide rage of different colours and styles that the shorts come in such as, plain and simple (for those who don't want to stand out) and even rainbow coloured ones (for those who do)!
They also have a cute selection of accessories and other clothing items that are definitely worth taking a look at.
